## Statement

The zero-correction control X = ϕ gives the printed angle 65.587°, closer than the retained G7 numeral to the global-fit phase (−0.37σ) and to the direct γ (−0.29σ).

## Caution

A closer control value is not a derived replacement phase law and does not justify another data-selected formula search.

## Primary source

Paper 3, Candidate Construction 2.1, Zero-correction control, PDF p.54: "The uncorrected argument X = ϕ gives δ = arctan 3ϕ = 65.587◦ : −0.37σ against the global-fit 1.154 ± 0.025 rad and −0.29σ (the lower error, the side facing the value) against the direct γ = 66.4+2.7 ◦ −2.8 — closer than G7 on both comparators."
