## Statement

In the registered Frenkel–Kontorova/Peierls–Nabarro comparison, an energy or dissipative principle mode-locks to rationals, while the golden value slides freely below the Aubry threshold Kc = 0.971635 and pins at and through it.

## Caution

The comparison does not exclude all stabilization mechanisms; it does not turn robustness into a derivation of a coupling.
