## Statement

Under the explicit B + SU(5) embedding, the one-generation Standard-Model gauge anomaly sums vanish and the mixed U(1)-gravitational anomaly sum vanishes, and the Witten SU(2) anomaly is absent.

## Caution

Anomaly cancellation does not select the compact embedding or determine the number of complete generations.
