## Statement

The registered residual trace weights are ε5 = −ϕ⁻², ε6 = 0 and εn = ϕ^(5−n) for n ≥ 7.

## Caution

The piecewise weight rule does not by itself define a physical energy correction or justify an untyped change to a binding formula.

## Primary source

Paper 9, §6, Pentagon residual trace, PDF p.133: "ε5 = −φ−2 (the pentagon F -move coherence loop: the killed channel appears once, negative trace),"
