## Statement

The former weak-angle account used the Det-squared construction as the selector of the independent polarization postulate.

## Caution

The retirement does not refute the separate Galois argument or derive the polarization postulate and its physical matching scale.

## Primary source

Paper 4, §7, Two objects formerly named AX6, PDF p.77: "The Det2 object is therefore retired as a selector of AX6pol ; A667 remains correct for the 50◦ object only and does not constrain AX6pol ."
