LIB2-285 · Superseded Peirce golden-power assignment for two CKM magnitudes

class RETIREDmath status (as printed) —attachment (as printed) —scorecard tier word (as printed) none printedhouse tier not yet assignedreview state PUBLISHEDentry version 8

Statement

The archived Peirce-sector proposal assigned V_cb = λ²/φ and V_ub = λ³/φ, successive powers of the same λ divided by the golden ratio.

Scope

domainThe paired scaling assignment printed in L129, not a universal CKM construction or its absent choice of the common parameter.
What this does not show. The current magnitude formulas remain loaded and do not derive the physical CKM matrix from the bare algebra.

Sources in the suite of record

Key — use ≠ record. A review state printed on a source use below names that use — one citation of the suite, read by the lane named in its warrant — not this record. The record's own review state is the one in the table above and is unchanged by any use-level state; a use may be LANE_PROPOSED or REVIEWED while the record it sits on remains IN_REVIEW (R45, R49).

Quotes are verbatim from the sha-pinned text extraction of the Rev33.1 PDF (A1584 §2.2, S309): mathematical typography — radicals, exponents, ≅ — can appear displaced in the extracted line. The PDF page is authoritative; the quote is what the machine gate matched.

why retiredRELATION_NOT_RECORDED — the retiring decision names only what replaced the claim ("not located in suite; current-target replacement in …"); the reason the old claim went was never recorded, and the house does not infer one from a pointer (R42 census S322, ruled R69).

  • gemini · ATTESTS · ARCHIVE_TEXT_SUPPLIED (D1341, A1694) — HIGH — The text lists the elements V_cb = λ²/φ and V_ub = λ³/φ. (not counted)
  • grok · ATTESTS · THE_RECORD (D1340, A1693) — HIGH — L129 assigns `V_cb = λ²/φ`, `V_ub = λ³/φ`. (not counted)

  • gemini · ATTESTS · ARCHIVE_TEXT_SUPPLIED (D1344, A1697) — HIGH — The archive row assigns the variables verbatim as $V_{cb} = \lambda^2/\phi$and $V_{ub} = \lambda^3/\phi$.

A successor is linked, never "derived from" the retired statement (charter §10.10).

A certificate says the record is well-formed, current, quote-on-page, label-literal, edge-resolved and binding-consistent on the bytes it was issued on. It is not a review, and it goes STALE the moment the master moves under it (R68). It is one conjunct of the PUBLISHED condition (R67), never the whole of it.

Drafting-lane note

L129 prints one paired assignment under the same source proposal, so its two components are retained together. The archive marks it OPEN. No definition or fit of lambda is supplied. The current formula quotes preserve the displaced radicals rather than repairing the extraction.
