Appendix A §A.1, sealed Rev32.7 PDF p.135:

> All split-octonion products in the current suite are taken in Cayley–Dickson form. Writing elements as pairs (p, q) over the compact octonions,

**Source defect, retained beside the quotation.** “Compact octonions” is the sealed wording, not the carrier used below. The half-algebra must be the quaternions. D1258 reports the house's confirmation and queues the wording repair as **REV32.9_CHANGELOG S310.2 (landed in Rev32.9)**. The product formula is unchanged. The dimension check `dimensions.half_pair` below is computed; this is not a silent edit of the source.

The March P2 prompt is a dated request, not a proof. Its direct-product wording for the compact group needs a central-kernel qualification. Its proposed identification of noncompact generators with mass-generating zero-divisor directions is not established by either a dimension count or this article.

Appendix N Part N.B, Proposition 2.1, sealed Rev32.7 PDF p.253:

> Hence the physical colour content is not forced by a compactness criterion; the choice of real form is an input.
