The arithmetic route is discrete only after selecting its arithmetic domain. The field-free route avoids that domain by imposing a different symmetry. Their shared result is conditional agreement, not removal of both premise sets. Evaluating DET-7 on the resulting spectrum cannot retroactively make its use in the selector proof premise-free.
The same distinction governs the frame: an unordered spectral orbit may be fixed while the ordered physical registration is not. The norm-only obstruction explains why a scalar depending only on the cubic cannot isolate a regular point of its norm level.
