The same rational number can occur as a normalized finite index, a dimension ratio and a proposed physical matching factor without those objects being equivalent. What has been reproduced here is the specific Frobenius constraint and the specific unit-channel signed bound. The distinction is constructive: the finite trace calculation succeeds, while its identification with the excluded signed count fails.

The positive finite ratio does not invalidate the negative signed-count result, and the signed-count result does not invalidate the finite trace theorem. No new normalization is inserted to force agreement between them.
